Greetings Eric & Sookie Lovers!

TRUE BLOOD IS BACK! How many were able to watch the first episode of the season? If not, we’ll try not to spoil you too much in here…but there WILL be a couple of links you should avoid…that is, unless you enjoy being spoiled.

Another good thing about True Blood returning? New images of our main couple…Eric Northman and Sookie Stackhouse! And let me tell you…they are a sight for sore eyes. I’ll try not to spoil you with the pics…but it might be difficult.

We hate to break it to you…but the Video of the Week is taking a hiatus during the True Blood season to allow the video makers more time to get clips and to make their awesome videos – as well as it gives us at ESL more time to devote to True Blood too. Those of you who followed us last year during the season, probably remember we would pick our favorite Eric and Sookie quotes during each episode, where you got to vote on which one you liked best. At the end of the season, we placed all of the weekly winners into one poll to choose which was our favorite Eric and Sookie quote all season! Great news! We’re doing that again…this week, we’d like you to vote in “Who are you (quoting). Really.” You better not delay…because the poll will be closing 15 minutes before next week’s episode on June 23rd!

Nymerias and I are pulling double duty this week. (Okay, mostly Nymerias is…LOL) She (and I) are helping out our dear friend Barbara over at SkarsgardFans.com who is away on vacation. Nymerias wrote up a review of the premiere episode titled, “The One With The Ick Factor”. Meanwhile, I’ve done the same for us at ESL called, “The one where Eric & Sookie say “Goodnight”. (Next week, we’re going to be switching positions because we’re flexible that way. ) Anyhoo..hope you enjoy both of our reviews! Comments are more than welcome too!

But that isn’t going to stop us from talking about our favorite couple, is it? NO. There are still many things we can talk about – especially since True Blood Season 6 is only 32 days away!

We would like to wish all of you; who have mothers, are mothers, are expectant mothers…HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! If it weren’t for you…none of us would be here today. You have the hardest and most rewarding job in the world! Thank you so very much for everything! *HUGS*

Nymerias took one for the team and wrote up our review of the final Sookie book, in our FINAL Sookie book post. If you feel like the book was a crock of shit too…we’re sure you’ll LOVE reading how CH took us from DEA to DUD in 5 seconds flat! Judging by all the reviews on Amazon…it feels good to know we’re not alone.

In order to give us pleasure once again…Alex graciously stepped out at the Met Gala and gave us new Skarsporn to drool over. Lookin’ mighty fine, Alex…you almost (not quite) made me forget all about the DEA debacle. YUM.

You may have noticed something strange is going on over at YouTube…they now have a trends map which lets you know what people are watching and where they are watching your videos from. We think it’s REALLY cool that the first YouTube trends map features a shirtless Eric and True Blood! Find out more about it on the link!

If you’re sitting there, reading this newsletter and thinking; “All I’m Asking For” is Eric and Sookie being happy and together…then you’ll love this week’s pick for Video of the Week! The Gracious Plenty – Issue 119

Greetings Eric & Sookie Lovers!

First of all…I’d like to apologize for not publishing an issue last week. You see, there was an illness in my family and I was unable to find time to do it. Hope you can understand. I do feel like I’ve let all of you down…my family member is getting better though.

As they say, there’s always a silver linings…that means this issue will be ESPECIALLY HUGE to make up for last week. Somehow I don’t think you’ll mind hearing that!

As you know today was the day “Dead Ever After” was released. I’m not going to say anything about it right now…there will be more about this further on in this newsletter. Let’s just say…that it has inspired a multitude of feelings for all of us and we need to see something which will (hopefully) cheer us up. That’s where we come in…with NEW Skarsporn! Yay!

These images, however, are somewhat spoilerish…but we couldn’t resist sharing these decadent delights as a way to get you in the mood to read The Gracious Plenty properly!

Now, let’s switch to a VERY hot topic the past 2 weeks at ESL…”Dead Ever After” – the final chapter of the series. We shared the prologue from the book. We spoiled you (and hopefully saved you some money) by revealing the HEA in DEA. And most of all, after we finished reading the book, Nymerias gave us ESL’s review of the book titled, “DEA to DUD in Five Seconds Flat”! As a result of all of this…we wanted to reassure you and let you know what our future plans are when it comes to the books and Charlaine Harris in “The Winds of Change”.

As you can see…we’re feeling some animosity towards one certain author. If you feel like you’ve been cheated, need to vent and/or to cry…feel free to join in our conversations in our forum. Who else knows what you’re feeling better than us?

May we suggest you do this? It might help.
